Silver Alert issued for Phoenix-area woman

PHOENIX — A Silver Alert was issued late Tuesday for a 67-year-old woman last heard from Sept. 30 on her way to work.
Ella Montgomery, who lives in Sun City, called her family to tell them she was on her way to work near 134th Avenue and Bell Road. She never reported to her job and hasn’t answered calls from her family.
Her family told authorities Montgomery had never disappeared before but that she had been prescribed medication.
Montgomery, 5-foot-7, 180 pounds, drives a black 2004 Chevy Avalanche, California license plate 77191H1. The Target employee was wearing a red shirt and khakis.
