Chicagoans, hold on to your weather-permitting hats: Lou Malnati’s is coming to the Valley.

(If your mouth is already watering, don’t worry: we don’t blame you.)

Thanks to KTAR News’ very own Paige Dimakos, who inquired that the OG deep dish restaurant should expand to the Valley, Lou’s has announced that they should be coming to Phoenix by next spring.

While nothing has been confirmed outside of this tweet, we’ll just assume that it’s the truth and we will no longer have to bare the cold to get a taste of cheesy gold.

Recently, Chicagoans have seen the growth of Windy City-based classics here in the Valley, with the opening of not one, but TWO Portillo’s locations, so it was only a matter of time before the pizza great decided to expand as well.

We welcome the deep dish connoisseur to the Valley with open arms and empty bellies!

We want to hear from you.
