PHOENIX — Ride-share company Lyft named its most popular Phoenix-area destinations for 2018 on Wednesday.

The Lyftie Awards were given to the most visited bars, restaurants, concert venues, gyms and neighborhoods in 45 markets.

Lyft changed up the categories this year, removing most-visited university and trending destination from the list.

It broke up the restaurant category into two — brunch and late-night spots — and added most-visited fitness studio and late-night neighborhood categories.

The “only in” category features a special location unique to each market.

“The Lyfties are a way for us to recognize the places that truly make Phoenix unique and to say thank you for sharing a ride with us to places like State Farm Stadium and the Talking Stick Resort,” Drena Kusari, Lyft’s Southwestern general manager, said in a press release.
