Glendale business replaces sign with campaign sign

A Glendale business owner has taken down an overhead sign in favor of a campaign sign supporting mayoral candidate Manny Cruz.
Chris Thompson, who owns Giant Electric, located at 5408 W.
Myrtle Avenue, said he believes that Cruz is the solution the city needs.
“I have talked with Manny Cruz on several occasions about his vision of ‘Moving
Glendale Forward’ that will include small businesses like mine in the discussion,” said
Thompson in a press release. “Manny understands the needs of small business owners.”
Thompson said he will leave the sign up through Election Day.
The sign is visible from downtown Glendale.
