Epic marriage proposal goes viral

Amy Frankel is a very lucky girl. On May 23, her boyfriend, Isaac Lamb, went above and beyond to present her with an epic marriage proposal.
Frankel sat in the back of a Honda CRV and was given headphones while she was driven slowly down the street listening to the Bruno Mars song, “Marry You.” Friends and family popped out of nowhere, joining in a choreographed lip-synced routine that could have very easily been the music video for the tune.
The couple met while auditioning for “West Side Story” in Portland, Ore., and both are involved in musical theater. Frankel is a Broadway dancer-choreographer, and Isaac is a local director and actor. Lamb drew from his resources of talented friends to hold one long, three-hour rehearsal to stage the proposal, and even had his grandma in on the act (she jumps in with jazz fingers at the end). Family who were unable to be there in person were featured singing on the six laptops through Skype.
Young men everywhere planning to propose have just had the bar raised a bit, but Frankel insists this type of gesture is just like her fiance.
“One of the reasons I love Isaac so much is that life is never boring around him. He likes to go on adventures and celebrate life, and enjoy our relationship with friends and family,” Frankel said. “So the proposal he gave me was very much in ‘Isaac style.'”
“He’s a hopeless romantic. It actually crossed my mind at one point during the proposal that anything I’ll ever want to surprise him with from here on out is going to be lame!”
At the end of the video, Frankel said “yes,” and the home footage has Vimeo and YouTube viewers rooting for this couple to have the happily ever after they deserve. Quite the keepsake to show their future grandchildren.
