PHOENIX — This might be batter than you think.

Insomnia Cookies, known for serving warm cookies and cold treats to the late-night crowd, is opening up its first Phoenix location in downtown on Saturday.

Located in Cityscape, the shop will serve numerous sweets, including chocolate chunk cookies, confetti deluxe and jinglebread, with ice cream to top it off.

It also offers vegan options and a frequently rotating limited-edition menu.

The grand opening is set to begin at noon and every customer will get a single classic cookie with no purchase required.

Stores hours vary from 11 a.m. to midnight Mondays through Wednesdays, 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. Thursdays and Fridays, noon to 1 a.m. Saturdays and noon to midnight Sundays.

Customers can purchase their treats in-store, pick up or schedule for a delivery.

Insomnia Cookies delivers to surrounding neighborhoods, including Arizona State University’s downtown Phoenix campus, part of central Phoenix and South Mountain Village.

The cookie makers have two other locations in Arizona, Tempe and Tucson.

We want to hear from you.
