Citing employment growth and a recovering housing market, business forecaster Kiplinger predicted Arizona will be one of the states with the fastest job growth in the next year.
Projections for Arizona had nearly 90,000 new jobs expected for 2016 for a growth forecast of 3.3 percent.
This year’s numbers for new jobs were about 77,000 and 3 percent growth.
Many of those jobs jobs will come in health care and insurance, reported the Phoenix Business Journal.
The national average for job growth is 2 percent.
Other Western states on the list were California, Idaho, Nevada, Utah, Oregon and Washington.
