PHOENIX — A man driving a motorcycle died Wednesday afternoon after a collision on a north Phoenix street, authorities said.
The 51-year-old male motorcyclist collided with a car at 31st Avenue and Bell Road, the Phoenix Police Department said.
The driver of the other car, a 27-year-old woman, remained on scene and showed no sign of impairment, police said.
The collision occurred when the car, heading eastbound on Bell Road, attempted to turn left onto 31st Avenue in front of the motorcycle, police said.
The man, identified by police as Aaron Reily, was thrown off his motorcycle from the impact and died of his injuries at the scene.
Police said speed may have been a factor. The incident remains under investigation.
