Phoenix ranks among the top 10 cities for millennials

PHOENIX — A recent study by The Langston Co., a consumer insights research company and Centiment.co, who creates and analyzes survey data, showed Phoenix as the 8th best place in the nation for millennials to live in.
Cities were ranked based on over 40 dimensions that boiled down to eight main categories: Cost of living, transportation, tax, career, social environment, culture, family and physical environment.
Phoenix received its 8th place spot by scoring a total of 104 points, just eclipsing the average score of 100.
The city also ranked top three in some key sub-categories like ever “Everyday Expenses” and “Commute”.
Respondents of the survey listed weathers, sports, people and culture as some of the best parts of living in Phoenix.
After surveying approximately 3,000 millennials in 22 major U.S. cities, Houston ranked first with a score of 117 while Detroit ranked 22nd scoring just 86.
