Crews battle fire on Hickman’s Family Farms in Tonopah

PHOENIX — A large building on Hickman’s Family Farms in Tonopah caught fire Thursday afternoon.
Sgt. Calbert Gillett with the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office said Buckeye Valley Fire, Tonopah Fire, Buckeye Fire and Harquahala Valley Fire were working to contain the blaze.
Gillett said there were no reported injuries, and no livestock was in the building near Interstate 10 and 411th Avenue.
No other information was immediately available.
Hickman’s Family Farms has been producing eggs locally since 1944.
