Phoenix Cyber Center to open, offer classes downtown this spring

PHOENIX — The Phoenix Cyber Center, a place where students can learn cyber literacy, cybersecurity and more, is planned to open in the spring.
Global education company Cybint Solutions will open the resource center in Skaled Sandbox, a downtown Phoenix makerspace that will also open in the spring, according to a press release.
The Phoenix Cyber Center will serve as “a regionwide hub and ecosystem for top-tier cyber education, public and private community resources, solutions and thought leadership,” according to the release.
The center will offer a wide array of classes for learners at all levels.

Cybint Solutions and Skaled Sandbox will be part of PHX Startup Week where, they will host a booth and lead a panel discussion.
Through a partnership with the Arizona Department of Veteran’s Services, the two companies will select three U.S. veterans who are pursuing cyber careers to receive educational scholarships.
