PHOENIX — A Silver Alert has been canceled for a missing 72-year-old woman who was last seen leaving a Chandler home early Friday morning.
The Chandler Police Department said Marsha Lynn Salib was believed to have left a residence in the area of Ocotillo and Alma School roads between 3 a.m. and 7 a.m.
Salib was taken to the Beaumont, California police department around 1:30 p.m. after running out of gas on the highway. She was in good health.
Police believed Salib was heading to California, but may not know which direction to drive. She had moved to Arizona about two weeks ago.
She left the home in a white 2017 Ford Fusion with the California license plate 1002UDP.
Salib was described as a 5-foot-6 white female with blue eyes and gray hair. She was last seen wearing a white and blue striped shirt with navy capri pants, white slip-on tennis shoes and a tan bucket hat.
