PHOENIX — If you haven’t seen all the Best Picture nominees, two Phoenix-area theater chains are giving you the chance to catch up before the Academy Awards.

Both AMC and Harkins are hosting film fests in the coming days that will screen all of the Best Picture nominees ahead of this year’s Oscars, which are slated for Feb. 26.

But the chains will do so in different styles.

Harkins will show all nine nominees spread across a weeklong film fest that will feature five films per day.

The fest is only being held at certain locations in the Phoenix area. Tickets are $45 and include admission to all the movies and vouchers for both a medium popcorn and a 2017 loyalty cup.

AMC will hold several different marathons for those who want to squeeze all the nominees into a relatively short period of time.

It will screen four of the nominees on Feb. 18 and the remaining five on Feb. 25. For those who really want to save time, the chain will also hold a 24-hour marathon of all the nominees, also on Feb. 25.

Entry to the two-day fest is $32.50, while ticket prices for the 24-hour marathon were not available online.

Both chains will also continue traditional screenings of the nominees.

We want to hear from you.
