Goodyear police searching for bank robbery suspect

PHOENIX — The search is on for a man suspected of robbing a Goodyear, Ariz. bank on Thursday, police said.

The suspect entered the Canyon State Credit Union at 1270 N. Dysart about 1:56 p.m. He handed the teller a note demanding money and received an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect fled the area on foot and was last seen near a Lowe’s store in the area.

The suspect is described as being a light-skinned black or Hispanic male. He was wearing a red hoodie and a ball cap at the time of the library.

Anyone with information on the robber is asked to contact the Goodyear Police Department at (623) 932-1220.
