Study: Arizonans consuming less beer

According to new data by the Beer Institute, Arizona has slipped to number 25 from their previous number 21 spot for beer consumption.
The Phoenix Business Journal reported that the average person in Arizona who is 21 years or older purchased 29.8 gallons of beer last year. That equals to more than a six pack per week.
The data also ranked Arizona number 14 in shipments. Arizona shipped almost 4.3 million barrels last year. California was number one with 21.8 million shipments.
New Hampshire was ranked number one for beer consumption at 43 gallons per resident of legal drinking age.
