PHOENIX — The Phoenix Police Department said one person was injured in an officer-involved shooting Thursday.
Police haven’t released any details but Officer James Holmes said “one suspect
is down” and that there are no reported injuries to officers.
The shooting occurred in the vicinity of 19th Avenue and
Cactus Road.
Closures are scheduled for roadwork on three freeways across the Phoenix area this weekend.
