PHOENIX — A family pet is in need of a new home after a tragedy.
Phoenix Fire dispatcher Megan Lange died Jan. 27 after being hit by a wrong-way driver on Interstate 17.
Local news reported Lange’s husband is trying to find a new owner for their 4-year-old Lab mix named Bella.
The couple got the dog when they were engaged, but with three children under the age of 3 dividing their attention, they had been trying to find a home more suited to focusing on Bella.
The dog has been spayed, is up to date on shots, is good with older children and is leash-trained.
Inquiries about Bella can be made at 602-361-8332 or dlbrown.az@gmail.com.
