KTAR reporter films time lapse of Tuesday’s storms

PHOENIX — Tuesday was a memorable and at times, frightening, day in Arizona monsoon season, as multiple storms struck the Valley over a 24-hour period.

Mark Remillard, a KTAR reporter, was out covering the storms for radio. The north Valley was struck especially hard, and while he drove, he shot video of the brutal weather plaguing residents in the North Valley.

It was then edited together, and in just 90 seconds, the destruction and severity of Tuesday’s rain is sobering.
