US 60 reopens after fatal collision

US 60 has reopened following a fatal collision that occurred Wednesday northwest of the Valley.

The Arizona Department of Transportation said it appears one person has died and three are injured following a car wreck on US 60 near milepost 118.

The two vehicles collided near State Route 74 around 7 p.m., resulting in closures of both sides of US 60 for a few hours.

Around 8:40 p.m., the westbound side of US 60 partially reopened to allow some traffic through.

Crews fully reopened the road around 10:25 p.m. Wednesday.

DPS is investigating the cause of the collision.

No identities of the people involved were immediately available.
