PHOENIX – Business software developer Sendoso is relocating its headquarters from San Francisco to Phoenix later this year, bringing nearly 1,000 jobs to the Valley, the company announced Tuesday.

Starting in November, Sendoso’s base will be 58,000 square feet of office space at The Grove, a new mixed-used development at 44th Street and Camelback Road in the Arcadia neighborhood.

The company already has a 190,000-square-foot warehouse and distribution center in west Phoenix.

“We are absolutely thrilled to expand our footprint in Arizona and support job growth,” Michelle Palleschi, Sendoso’s president and chief operating officer, said in a press release. “Our new state-of-the-art office space will inspire employees to connect and collaborate in a meaningful way, while also providing them with the flexibility to work in a hybrid environment so that they are empowered to do their best work, in the location they choose.”

Sendoso operates what it calls a “sending platform,” which integrates with existing software. The subscription-based service allows companies to send personalized gifts at scale as a way to foster business relationships.

The company, which was founded in 2016 and is backed by $152 million in venture funding, is investing over $40 million in its new headquarters.

During her State of the City address last week, Mayor Kate Gallego said Sendoso was recruited in partnership with the Greater Phoenix Economic Council.

“Our skilled talent, innovative ecosystem, quality of life, and supportive business environment are top reasons tech companies like Sendoso choose Phoenix,” Gallego said in Tuesday’s press release.

“We are pleased to welcome these executives, and look forward to the company’s growth from its new headquarters.”
