Tempe to reopen several public facilities with coronavirus protocols

PHOENIX — Several community facilities in Tempe are set to reopen on Monday with new safety measures in effect to help prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
The Tempe Public Library, three multi-generational centers, the Transit Store, the Household Products Collection Center and the compost yard will be open to the public after shutting down due to COVID-19, according to a press release.
City facilities will be enforcing social distancing protocols and will require all visitors to wear face coverings.
Temperature checks may also be required.
The library will be open on weekdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. with limited services; the Escalante, North Tempe and Westside multi-generational centers will be open on weekdays from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
The multi-generational centers will also be open on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and the Escalante facility will be open from 1 p.m. until 6 p.m. on Sundays.
All other public facilities will remain closed until further notice.
The city of Tempe will modify its reopening updates online.
