PHOENIX — Fans of the rock band The Rolling Stones will have to wait longer than expected to see the band take the stage at State Farm Stadium.

Lead singer Mick Jagger was diagnosed with a medical condition that forced the group to postpone the North American leg of their upcoming “No Filter” tour, which was scheduled for a stop in Glendale on May 7, according to Variety magazine.

Tour promoters have advised ticket holders to hold on to their existing tickets for future dates that will be rescheduled.

Although limited information was released on Jagger’s actual medical condition, the singer is expected to make a full and complete recovery.

“I hate letting our fans down and I’m hugely disappointed to have to postpone the tour but am looking forward to getting back on stage as soon as I can,” Jagger said.

The North American leg was scheduled to begin on April 20 in Miami and end on June 29 in Canada.
