8 participants injured in Cave Creek’s bull run

CAVE CREEK — It wasn’t all fun and games at Cave Creek’s second annual Running of the Bulls event.
Of the nearly 700 participants who partook in a Southwest version of the long-standing Spanish tradition, only eight were injured Saturday during the festival’s seven bull races.
According to MyFoxPhoenix, two of the eight injured required trips to the hospital. Although none of the injuries were considered serious or life-threatening.
