Missing Peoria woman found dead

PEORIA, Ariz. — Police said an elderly Peoria woman with dementia who went
missing from her home has been found dead.

Peoria police said a Pinal County deputy located Dolores Lynch, 77, late
Wednesday night in her car, which was off the road in a desert area of San Tan Valley.

Authorities said there were no signs of foul play. They said Lynch had most of
the cash she had withdrawn and a map to a local casino.

According to police, Lynch was last seen Friday leaving her house in her car. They said
Lynch, who was diabetic, had taken her insulin but no other medications or
clothes. Family members told authorities it was not like her to go anywhere
without telling them.
