3-year-old child pulled from Glendale pool

Nov 12, 2013, 4:02 PM

PHOENIX — A 3-year-old boy was in critical condition Tuesday after being pulled from a Glendale pool, a fire official said.

“Bystanders found him,” said Danny Senese with the Glendale Fire Department. “We’re not quite sure if it was family members or just bystanders, but they found him at the bottom of the pool and started CPR.”

The child was found near 75th Avenue and Union Hills.

The child was flown to a local hospital.

Television cameras showed the pool did not appear to have a fence.
