PHOENIX — An Illinois-based winery and eatery is expanding with plans to open a second Valley location, this one in Chandler, later this year.

Cooper’s Hawk Winery and Restaurant will open on the north end of the Chandler Fashion Center on Chandler Boulevard west of the Loop 101 Price Freeway on Sept. 26, according to a press release.

Its first metro Phoenix spot opened in Scottsdale in December 2020.

“My team and I are so pleased that our Scottsdale store was so well received by the community,” CEO Tim McEnery said in the release. “We have found a home in beautiful Arizona and look forward to expanding to other cities throughout the Valley.”

Cooper’s Hawk has a wine club and shop for tastings along with a food menu of traditional American fare.

Three hiring events for 150 employees will take place this Wednesday, Aug. 11 and Aug. 25.

Full-time and part-time positions for kitchen staff, servers, tasting room attendants, bartenders, hosts and more are available.

Those who want more information on how to apply should call 480-936-7711.

Cooper’s Hawk has 46 locations across the nation.
