PHOENIX — If you needed another day as an excuse to indulge in some delicious food, then look no further.

Sunday is National Chicken Wing Day — yes, you read that right. National. Chicken. Wing. Day. An entire 24 hours dedicated to chicken wings.

Chicken wings, also known as buffalo wings, are a type of food typically associated with the United States. It is generally deep-fried and coated with a type of sauce.

Because we want to help you celebrate in the deliciousness that are chicken wings, here are some of the best places in the Phoenix-area to score a bite.
