Silver Alert canceled after missing 77-year-old man found safe in Scottsdale

PHOENIX — A Silver Alert was canceled Tuesday morning after a missing 77-year-old man was found safe in Scottsdale, authorities said.

Scottsdale police located Edward Holmes in good condition near Hayden Road and Thompson Peak Parkway, according to the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office.

Holmes hadn’t been seen since Sunday morning at the Fountain Park Hotel in Fountain Hills. The Silver Alert was issued Monday morning.

Holmes stands 6-foot-2 and weighs 200 pounds with white hair and hazel eyes.
