PHOENIX — An Arizona man has been charged with two counts of illegal voting and one count of perjury, according to the Arizona Attorney General’s Office.

The office said in a Thursday press release that 61-year-old Randy Jumper of Tucson voted twice in the 2016 general election.

Jumper allegedly voted once in Pima County and then again in Washoe County, Nevada.

The perjury charge came from a document Jumper signed swearing that he was a registered voter in southern Arizona and did not vote in the election in any other state or county.

Both offenses are felonies.

The Arizona Secretary of State’s Office caught on to Jumper’s actions and referred the case for review to the attorney general’s office in 2018.

Jumper will appear in Pima County Superior Court on Sept. 23.
