• Valley-based Chompie’s has made its new Jerusalem challah bread available at all Arizona Costco stores. The announcement comes in time for Rosh Hashanah (Jewish New Year), which begins Wednesday at sundown.

Harkins Theatres is celebrating its 84th anniversary by offering moviegoers a free small popcorn with the purchase of a drink Wednesday.

• Lots of companies will be looking to fill lots of openings at a job fair Wednesday in the East Valley. The event runs from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Mesa Convention Center near Center Street and University Drive. Available positions include bankers, call center staffers and vacation planners.
