KTAR’s Main Street Minute focuses on local businesses that are hiring, opening and hosting events across the community. Stories air each weekday on KTAR at 7:27 a.m.

• A local business for mothers is on the move. MomPlex has relocated from Tempe to Gilbert. The service provides a space for moms to work on their businesses or school with on-site child care. The new space is near Lindsay and Ray roads.

• For the third straight year, Scottsdale-based developer Taylor Morrison has been chosen America’s most trusted home builder by Lifestory Research. The award is based on the opinions of over 30,000 people looking for a new home in the top housing markets.

• More than two dozen companies, including Amazon, Banner Health, the Department of Health Services and the city of Avondale are taking part in the West Valley Career Expo. The event in Avondale runs from 8 a.m. until noon at the American Sports Center near Van Buren Street and Avondale Boulevard.
