Sticking together: Metro Phoenix prom couples reach finals of Duck Tape contest

PHOENIX — Four students from the Valley were selected as top-10 finalists in a contest that involved using Duck Tape to create formal wear for prom.

Liz Gazca and Josh Flader from Gilbert Classical Academy and Callie Brown and Avery Brown from Chaparral High School in Phoenix were chosen as finalists in Duck’s “Stuck at Prom Scholarship Contest.”

Voting for the best couple is open to the public until July 8 at StuckAtProm.com. Winners will be announced July 11.

All couples selected to the top 10 will be receiving at least $500 in scholarships. The grand prize winners and their school will receive $5,000 each.
