Police searching for Avondale missing man

A 70-year-old Avondale man has been missing since Sept. 30, according to a release by the Avondale Police Department.

Pablo Leon-Solorio and his wife were involved in a verbal argument while they were on their way home on Sept. 29.

Leon-Solorio was seen driving away from Dysart Road and Main Street by his wife. He was driving their 1993 black, four-door Honda Accord with license plate AXZ6671.

Leon-Solorio is described as a Hispanic male, 5’06” tall, 165 pounds with brown eyes and partially greying hair. He is also an insulin dependent diabetic.

According to the police department, he was last seen wearing a cowboy hat, short sleeve shirt with black and white stripes, brown pants and dress shoes.

Leon-Solorio was seen on video surveillance footage in Quartzite, Ariz. on Sept. 30 at about 11 a.m. purchasing a beverage.

Surrounding agencies, local hospitals, cab companies and emergency services were all contacted showing no results.
