Valley weekend freeway restrictions for Dec. 4-7

PHOENIX — Drivers should be aware of several freeway restrictions in the Phoenix area over the weekend that could delay their travels.

• Frontage roads along Interstate 17 will be closed between 19th Avenue and Van Buren Street from 10 p.m. Friday to 6 p.m. Saturday and from 10 p.m. Saturday to 6 p.m. Sunday.

• Southbound Loop 101 will be down to two lanes at McDonald Drive from 10 p.m. Saturday to 5 a.m. Sunday.

• Eastbound Loop 101 will be down to one lane while the westbound Loop 101 will be down to two near State Route 51 from 9 p.m. Sunday to 5 a.m. Monday
