PHOENIX – A motorcyclist died after colliding with a school bus on Friday afternoon, authorities announced.
Glendale Police was informed of a vehicle collision around 3.15 p.m.
Preliminary investigations from witnesses indicate that an adult male riding a motorcycle attempted to avoid crashing into another vehicle but collided with the moving school bus.
The school bus was only occupied by the driver and had no students on board.
While detectives continue to investigate, Litchfield Road will be closed from Bethany Home Road to Glendale Avenue. The police advised drivers to avoid the area.
No other information was made available at the time.
The incident is an ongoing investigation.
