PHOENIX — A man was hospitalized after being shot in Phoenix on Saturday night, authorities said.

The shooting took place near 41st Street and McDowell Road around 7:30 p.m., according to the Phoenix Police Department.

Officers arrived to find the victim suffering from a gunshot wound.

He was brought to a nearby hospital to receive treatment for his non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
