PHOENIX — The Arizona Cardinals scored 9 points in Sunday’s loss to Seattle, making the offense the easy target for blame.

Cardinals radio analyst and sports talk host Ron Wolfley is shocked by the continued poor performances from Kliff Kingsbury, Kyler Murray and company.

“If you’re struggling to score points against the Seattle Seahawks … you’ve got to take a hard, hard look at yourself in the mirror,” Wolfley told KTAR News 92.3 FM’s The Mike Broomhead Show on Monday.

Arizona managed a field goal on its opening possession of the game, but was stonewalled after. The Cardinals’ only other points came when they recovered a fumbled Seahawks punt attempt in end zone.

The Cardinals (2-4) threatened in Seattle’s territory on multiple occasions, but were stopped on fourth down four times.

“As far as I’m concerned, I can’t remember an offense that was so talented that underperformed to this degree,” Wolfley said.

Arizona is back in action quickly, hosting New Orleans on Thursday night at State Farm Stadium.

Star wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins will return from his six-game suspension, but the Cardinals lost fellow receiver Marquise “Hollywood” Brown to injury at the end of the Seattle game.

Running back depth also continues to be an issue with James Conner, Darrel Williams and Jonathan Ward missing the Seahawks game.

“They’ve got to get guys healthy,” Wolfley said. “James Conner of course didn’t play and now Hollywood’s all banged up, so at some point in time they got to get this team healthy.”
