Bad lighting, timing gives German leader Hitler mustache

Feb 26, 2014, 5:09 PM | Updated: 5:09 pm

You know those moments in photos when the stars align and an entirely unintended image is captured?

This may just be the best one ever captured.

According to the New York Daily News, the below photo of German Chancellor Angela Merkel was snapped during a meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The shadow cast by the prime minister on the chancellor’s face is unfortunate, to say the least.

In case you don’t quite get why this was all over the Internet, here’s a recap: This is a Jewish man casting a shadow resembling Adolf Hitler’s mustache on the face of a German leader.

Understand? Good. Now feel free to look at the picture and keep laughing. Ain’t timing great?
