Main Street Minute: Scottsdale company donates to children’s cause

• A Scottsdale-based health and wellness company is making a big donation to a nonprofit that supports kids of deployed or wounded service members. Plexus Worldwide is giving Our Military Kids nearly $65,000 to fund activities such as soccer, ballet, baseball and arts camps.
• Title Boxing Club has opened its doors near 32nd Street and Indian School Road in Phoenix. The club includes more than 50 bags, free weights, a full-size boxing ring and offers nine classes a day. There is even a kids’ class for ages 12 to 17.
• M Culinary Concepts is hiring more than 130 servers, hosts and hostesses to work the upcoming Waste Management Phoenix Open. A job fair for golf tournament work runs Monday from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m. near Cave Creek Rpad and Loop 101. Prospective employees must be available to work Jan. 30 through Feb. 4.
