Silver Alert canceled for Phoenix-area couple

PHOENIX — A Silver Alert was canceled Tuesday after a missing Phoenix-area couple was found safe.

George and Maureen Abdo of Peoria had last been seen Monday around 9 a.m. at their home near 70th Avenue and Sonoran Mountain Ranch Road. The couple was found safe in Flagstaff.

According to family, George, 74, and Maureen, 82 have problems with memory and have gotten lost while driving other times.
