Main Street Minute: Startups can win free office space in Phoenix

KTAR’s Main Street Minute focuses on local businesses that are hiring, opening and hosting events across the community. These stories air each weekday on KTAR at 7:27 a.m.

• Scottsdale’s condo population continues to grow. Groundbreaking takes place in April on the $42 million Inspire on Earll complex in Old Town. The site will boast 97 homes, with one-bedroom to four-bedroom options. Prices start at $299,000. Completion is expected in late 2016.

• The owners of seven high-end salons in Minnesota, and one in the Bay Area, have bought out two Mood Swing salons in Tempe and Scottsdale.

• One company will win six months of free office space at 111 West Monroe starting in March to celebrate the first annual Phoenix Startup Week. The winner’s new home will be a fully furnished 1,200-square-foot space.
