Police searching for missing Mesa man

Mesa police are searching for an older man who went missing on Wednesday.

Louis J. Smilor was last seen on August 1 about 5:30 a.m. in his assisted living residence, located near Brown and Ellsworth.

Smilor, 64, had recently suffered a stroke, is on several medications and is severely delusional.

Police said Smilor, a white male, was last seen wearing a white shirt and unknown color shorts. He has short, white hair and stands about 5-foot-3, weighing about 120 lbs.

Anyone with information on Smilor is asked to call the Mesa Police Department.
