Main Street Minute: Job fairs fill up calendars for Phoenix companies

KTAR’s Main Street Minute focuses on local businesses that are hiring, opening and hosting events across the community. These stories air each weekday at 7:23 a.m.
• Three dozen or so companies are hiring Monday at a job fair near Sky Harbor Airport. The event runs from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Crowne Plaza Phoenix Airport near 44th and Washington streets. More than 1,000 jobs are up for grabs including management, customer service, sales, IT and health care.
• The Catalyst Career Group is hosting a job fair Monday from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. The Professional and Diversity fair takes place at the Embassy Suites Phoenix Biltmore near 24th Street and Camelback Road. Hiring managers will be on hand interviewing for jobs in IT, accounting, finance and government.
• Sync Staffing is hiring for warehouse and landscaping positions at a job fair Monday from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. The event is near 75th Avenue and Thomas Road.
