Baguettes or baby arms: Japanese meme comparing babies to bread goes viral

Apr 15, 2016, 7:41 PM

It looks like the ‘ol “hot dogs or legs” controversy has now shifted its way to “baguettes or baby arms:” A Japanese meme comparing baby arms to a popular snack bread has gone viral, toasting other memes in comparison.

According to BuzzFeed, Twitter users began using the hashtag to compare their baby’s arms to a popular pull-apart bread available at Japanese 7-Eleven convenience stores.

The hashtag, which translates to #MyBabysGotTheBestBreadPhoto, took off after one parent noticed the comparison and decided to tweet about it.

While these babies might actually be bread, they’re cute enough that we can eat them right up!

So if you’re stuck staring at your legs, wondering if they look too much (or not enough) like hot dogs, at yeast you aren’t a newborn baby with baguette-like arms.
