• It’s National Doughnut Day and to help celebrate, Jewel’s Bakery and Cafe is offering buy one, get one free donuts. The gluten-free restaurant is also offering 20 percent off if you preorder a dozen donuts. Jewel’s is located at 40th Street and Indian School Road.
• Phoenix-based Risas Dental is opening a new location and will be offering free dental service. Patients who line up Saturday morning outside the office at 16th Street and Southern Avenue will get to choose from one of four treatments: teeth cleaning, cavity filling, tooth extraction or a complete exam with X-rays.
