SAN DIEGO (AP) – A San Diego woman who was four days past her due date gave birth to a boy while her husband sped 85 mph to the hospital.
U-T San Diego (

As they dashed on Interstate 5, Henry delivered the couple’s 6-pound baby in the front passenger seat. They noted the time of birth, 2:03, on the dashboard clock.
Once they got to the emergency room, dad got to cut the umbilical cord.
Matt Henry, who’s a pastor, said things didn’t go according to plan “but the Lord had us in mind. We didn’t panic.”
