KTAR’s Main Street Minute focuses on local businesses that are hiring, opening and hosting events across the community. These stories air each weekday at 7:23 a.m.

• Here are a couple of Tax Day deals: Keep It Cut men’s hair salon is offering hair cuts for $10.40 (same numbers as the 1040 tax form). Cuts are regularly priced at $17. The salon has three Valley locations. Meanwhile, fast-food chain Culver’s, which has locations across metro Phoenix, is offering $2 one-scoop “Tax Day turtles” sundaes.

• The Hilton Phoenix Airport near 44th Street and University Drive is the place to be Monday job seekers. Companies from all across the area will be on hand for a hiring event from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. Interviewees should bring plenty of resumes and dress professionally.
