Main Street Minute: Ballet Arizona to perform free open-air programs

KTAR’s Main Street Minute focuses on local businesses that are hiring, opening and hosting events across the community. These stories air each weekday on KTAR at 7:27 a.m.
• Ballet Arizona is kicking off its 2016-2017 season with free performances in Valley parks this week. “Ballet Under the Stars” starts Thursday at Estrella Lakeside Amphitheater in Goodyear. Friday, the troupe will perform at Fountain Park in Fountain Hills and Saturday at Steele Indian School Park in Phoenix. All performances begin at 7 p.m.
• RecruitMilitary and Disabled American Veterans are hosting an All Veterans Career Fair on Thursday at University of Phoenix Stadium. The event run from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Employers on hand include GoDaddy, U.S. Customs and Border Protection, BlueLine Rental, Farmers Insurance and Grand Canyon University.
• Health services company Sante of Scottsdale is hiring nurses, therapists and restaurant workers. The short-term rehabiliation center is holding a job fair Thursday from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. near 94th Street and Bell Road. Interviews will be conducted on-site for qualified individuals and a free meal will be provided.
