Vice President J.D. Vance accused Arizona State University of using J-1 visas "way too much" and called for increased scrutiny into the university's visa usage. Vance said the visas allow ASU and eight other universities to bring in foreign researchers and graduate students that get paid at a lower rate than an American worker.
