Water Watch: Scottsdale considers tighter rules for major water users
Scottsdale is moving forward with plans to create a large water users ordinance to help mitigate the effects of Colorado River water cuts. At the City Council’s Sept. 22 work session, staff recommended requiring new large water users to submit a conservation plan. Council members also called for an economic impact analysis and council approval for developments that would use more than 500,000 gallons a day.
